Rib-eye steak with béarnaise sauce
The classic Valentine’s meal, steak and potatoes, has a béarnaise sauce as well to accompany your meal.
Béarnaise sauce is similar to Hollandaise, where they are both emulsified sauces with egg yolk and butter, béarnaise has more herbs, by substituting Hollandaise's lemon juice with white wine vinegar, shallots, tarragon and pepper.
This recipe serves 2 and takes roughly an hour to make.

Vegan Tacos
How about something fun and easy to make! Tacos are simple and can also be a fun activity for both of you, making the tortillas, but these can also be bought from your local supermarket.
This meal takes 40 minutes total to make and serves 2 people.
This could also be a fun meal for the kids as they could help make the tortillas, and you can organise the fillings, simply double the recipe.
