BECAUSE ONE SIZE NEVER FITS ALL.

Too big, and you get fabric bunching up, causing irritation; too small, and the sock will not sit or perform correctly on your foot.
Each of our sizes cover 4 UK shoe sizes only, from 2 up to 13½.

MERINO WOOL
LUXURIOUSLY SOFT, NATURALLY WARM.
Merino Wool is a naturally technical fibre; hence why we love it at the Sockmine. Luxuriously soft, it naturally regulates both temperature and moisture, meaning that not only does it keep you warm, but its breathability allows sweat and moisture to be wicked away from the skin. Amazingly, it is also 100% sustainable, renewable and biodegradable. The Merino wool we use is Oeko-Tex® and Bluesign® certified, ensuring only consumer-safe products are used, and that the environment is being looked after throughout the manufacturing process.
COOLMAX®
KEEPS FEET COOL AND DRY.
Developed in 1986, Coolmax® is a technical fibre engineered to keep the wearer dry. The fibre’s unique cross-section absorbs and pulls moisture away from the skin, transporting it down tiny grooves on its surface. Once the moisture spreads across a larger surface area, the rate of evaporation of that moisture increases. This effect helps keep your feet dry and cool. Coolmax® allows us to create socks that are soft and breathable; perfect for optimal sports performance in warmer weather.

ARCH SUPPORT
CLOSER FIT TO THE FOOT.
An arch support is a band of elasticated fabric located half way down the foot. It is designed to improve the fit of the sock around your arch, allowing the fabric to closely follow the contours of your foot.
ANKLE SUPPORT
CLOSER FIT TO THE ANKLE.
An ankle support is a band of elasticated fabric which goes around your ankle. It is designed to improve the fit of the sock around the ankle bone, preventing bunching at the heel.
SLINGSHOT SUPPORT
KEEPS THE HEEL IN PLACE.
A slingshot support is a Y-shaped elasticated band located around the heel. It helps secure the heel, preventing it from slipping into your shoe during activities.
BREATHABLE MESHED FABRIC
INCREASES AIRFLOW.
Hot and sweaty feet are something which everyone battles with, especially in active environments. Our breathable meshed fabric is constructed so that it increases airflow to and from the skin. This allows the warm air trapped beneath the sock to escape, being replaced by cooler air from outside the sock. To aid this breathability, we strongly advise wearing shoes that also have a breathable mesh.
ULTRA BREATHABLE MESHED FABRIC
MAXIMISES AIRFLOW.
Hot and sweaty feet are something which everyone battles with, especially in active environments. Our ultra breathable meshed fabric is constructed so that it maximises airflow to and from the skin. The holes in the fabric allow warm air trapped beneath the sock to escape, being replaced by cooler air from outside the sock. To aid this breathability, we strongly advise wearing shoes that also have a breathable mesh.
CUSHIONED SOLE
FOR COMFORT AND PROTECTION UNDERFOOT.
Additional cushioning underfoot is used to increase the comfort and the durability of the sock. The terry loop pile fabric is constructed so This is perfect for when you’re up on your feet for an extended period of time and needing that extra level of support.
TARGETED CUSHIONING
FOR PROTECTION IN THE AREAS YOU NEED IT MOST.
The thick cushioned fabric is placed in selected impact zones for added comfort and protection in those key areas. Terry loops give the fabric a padded feel that absorbs impact, softening the blows on your foot.
FULL CUSHIONING
ALL OVER WARMTH AND COMFORT.
The dense cushioned fabric is applied throughout the sock, resulting in a thick, comfortable pair. The terry loops provide an extra layer of insulation, as well as absorbing impacts to the feet.
REINFORCED HEEL AND TOE
DURABILITY IN THE HEEL AND TOE.
The heel and toe of the sock is reinforced with additional synthetic yarns, which increase the durability of the sock making it perform better for longer.
TARGETED REINFORCEMENT
DURABILITY WHERE IT COUNTS.
Through reinforcing key impact zones with synthetic yarns, we can increase the durability of the sock making it perform better for longer.
COMFORT LINKED TOE SEAM
FLAT SEAM FOR NO IRRITATION.
Bulky seams have no place in a sock designed for performance. The comfort linked toe seam is flat, so causes no irritation to the tops of your toes.
ERGONOMIC DESIGN
LEFT AND RIGHT SOCKS.
These socks are ergonomically designed to your left and right feet, providing you with the correct technical features in the correct place on the foot. Just make sure you get them the right way round!
FIBRE COMPOSITIONS
WHAT MAKES UP THE SOCK.
The fibre composition details percentage by weight of each fibre contained in the sock. Technical socks often have a proportion of synthetic fibres such as nylon and elastane, as these provide durability and stretch to the sock. For a technical wool sock, you should expect around a 50% wool content.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SKI AND SNOWBOARD SOCKS
TARGETED CUSHIONING.
Unlike some, we recognise that skiers and snowboarders want very different things from their socks. We have therefore created the Ultimate ski sock and the Ultimate Snowboard sock to support the different ways skiers and snowboarders move. Our skiing socks have extra padding around the ankle and shin area for the constant leaning forward into your boots, and the side to side of carving up the slopes. However our snowboarding socks have extra padding on top of the foot for comfort and protection from the binding straps. Padding is also reinforced in the heel and toe areas once again for durability and comfort whether you are on your heels or your toes.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MOTOCROSS AND MOTORBIKE
LIGHTWEIGHT AND BREATHABLE VS. COMFY AND WARM.
There are very different requirements needed in motorbike and motocross socks. Our motorbike sock is higher in length, uses thick terry fabric for warmth and comfort and a reinforced toe pad designed to add extra comfort when changing gears. In addition, our motorbike socks also use high quality Merino wool to draw moisture away from the skin whilst keeping the foot warm. In contrast, our Motocross socks are lightweight, ultra breathable and use Coolmax® to keep the foot comfortable and cool during the ride. It also has a reinforced toe for additional padding when changing gears.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE EQUESTRIAN AND COMPETITION
SUPPORT AND COMFORT VS. AN ULTRA CLOSE FITTING LEG.
The SockMine equestrian sock has been created to support and ventilate the leg and utilises graduation elastication to aid circulation for recovery and warmth. On the other hand, our competition sock has been specifically tailored for dressage and competitions. The lightweight close fitting leg gives ultimate feel and control inside close fitting dressage boots, whilst the coolmax® padded foot helps to keep you cool and dry.
